Metin Stones are the primary source of skill books, spirit stones, and soul stones in Metin2. They fall as meteorites, stay where they land, and spawn groups of monsters when attacked. This guide covers the metin levels, their spawn locations, what they drop, and how to farm them efficiently.
What Metins Are
Metins are class 5 opponents, which makes them significantly harder to destroy than other monsters of the same level. They do not move and do not attack. When you hit a metin, it spawns up to 10 groups of monsters that automatically attack whoever is damaging the metin. The first two spawns consist of one group each, the next four spawns two groups each, and the last four spawns up to three groups.[1]

All metins except Metin Pung-Ma (level 75), Metin Ma-An (level 80), and Metin Tu-Young (level 85) drop Skill Books. Spirit Stones drop only from Metin of Black (level 25) or higher, except metins in dungeons. Metins above level 40 (starting with Metin of Soul) can drop Soul Stones.[1]
The "Strength against Metin stones" bonus works against all metins. It is recommended to destroy metins within 9 levels above your own level for optimized drop rates.[1]

[*]Bring a party. Metins spawn multiple groups of monsters when attacked, and clearing them alone is slow.
[*]Use the "Strength against Metin stones" bonus to speed up kills.
[*]Farm metins within 9 levels of your own level for the best drop rates.
[*]Skill Books are the most consistent drop and sell well on the player market.
[*]Spirit Stones and Soul Stones are rarer but more valuable. Focus on Metin of Black or higher for Spirit Stones, and Metin of Soul or higher for Soul Stones.
