Metin2 dungeons: entry requirements, boss mechanics, and rewards
Dungeons are instanced areas that each group enters privately. They have entry requirements, multiple floors, and a boss at the end that drops exclusive loot. Most of the best equipment in Metin2 can only be obtained in dungeons. This guide covers the official server dungeon table so you know what to expect before you queue up.
How dungeons work
Each dungeon has a level requirement, a number of floors, and a boss reward chain. You enter from a specific NPC, complete each floor's objective, and face the final boss. The boss drops a chest that contains the dungeon's special rewards.[1][2]
Most dungeons have daily or weekly access restrictions. Plan your runs strategically so you do not waste entries.[2]
Demon Tower (level 40+)
The Demon Tower is the first dungeon most players try. It has 9 floors and is designed as a solo dungeon. It is the only major solo dungeon in Metin2, making it ideal for practicing mechanics before attempting group content.[2]
You enter by talking to the Demon Tower Guard in Hwang Temple. If you are level 60 or higher, you can teleport to the entrance via the Teleporter.[3]
Each floor has a different task. Floor 3 is a kill floor with the boss Demon King. Floor 6 has the boss Proud Demon King and a Blacksmith who upgrades your equipment for free. Floor 7 requires you to destroy all Metin of Death to proceed.[3]
You can stay inside for a maximum of 3 hours. If you die and restart to city, you are teleported to your home town and must start over.[1][3]
Spider Queen's Nest (level 50+)
This is a short dungeon with only 2 floors and a party requirement. It is a good introduction to group dungeon mechanics. The entrance is at the Gravestone in Spider Dungeon 3.[1]
Dragon's Temple (level 75+)
Another 2 floor dungeon with 4 monsters per floor. The entrance is through the Ghost of a Sura in Grotto of Exile V2.[1]
Devil's Catacomb (level 75+)
This is a multi level instanced dungeon that requires a group of at least two players. You must have completed Demon Tower once to enter. It has 7 floors and a 1 hour time limit.[1][2]
The group fights through monsters, puzzles, and bosses on each level. The primary objective is completing all levels within the time limit.[2]
Red Dragon Fortress (level 100+)
A 7 floor dungeon that requires a group. Every group member must have a Passage Ticket. The entrance is at the Fireland Guard in Fireland. The cooldown to re-enter is 1 hour.[1][4]
You complete 7 tasks in random order. After each task, you talk to the Am-heh Gorge in the middle of the map. The last task is always the same. If you leave the dungeon by disconnecting or reviving in city, you have 5 minutes to get back in.[4]
Nemere's Watchtower (level 100+)
This ice dungeon requires a group with at least one Shaman and one Ninja. The Shaman must have learned the Dragon Power skills. The entrance is at the Ice Land Guardian in Mount Sohan.[1]
The final boss Nemere uses powerful frost attacks. Frost resistance on your equipment is important for this dungeon.[2]
General dungeon tips
Start with the Cavern of Banishment at level 75 for your first dungeon experience. Use the Demon Tower to practice solo mechanics. From level 75, the Zodiac Temple is worthwhile for group play.[2]
Coordinate with your group to avoid wasted entries. Most higher dungeons require well coordinated groups with proper roles: tank, healer, and damage dealers.[2]
