Metin2 guild system: from founding to endgame

Getting started: creating your guild

Once your character reaches level 40, you can found a guild by speaking to the Guardian NPC in any starting town or at Dong Gwang Plain. The founding fee is 200,000 Yang, and you need to have been guildless for at least 7 days if you previously belonged to another guild. Your guild name can be up to 12 characters and must not already be taken. From there, you can set permissions, invite members, and start building something lasting. The official wiki covers all the basics if you want to dig deeper into the setup process.

Guild levels and skills

A guild levels up just like a character, all the way to level 40. Up to level 20, members donate experience points to push the guild forward. Beyond that, you need Yang or Donation Tickets, up to three times per day. Each level grants one skill point, two additional member slots, and 100 more Dragon God Power. You can invest those points into guild skills like Blood of Dragon God for extra HP, Acceleration for movement and attack speed, and Casting Aid for faster skill casting. Most skills cap at level 7, though the three Balathor skills introduced in Update 24.3 go up to level 10. Using these skills consumes Dragon Ghost Power, which refills at 100 Yang per point from the guild treasury.

Guild wars

Guild wars unlock at level 2. Both guilds need at least 8 members, and at least one player with the Combatant permission must be online to accept or decline the declaration. You can choose from six war types: Field Battle, Arena, Capture the Flag, Annihilation, Time Attack, and Shield Battle. Gameforge breaks down each war format if you are preparing for your first fight. Wars also feed into the guild ranking ladder, so victories and defeats matter beyond the immediate bragging rights.

Guild storage and benefits

At level 10, your guild can purchase territory on the old continent for 400,000,000 Yang. Territory unlocks buildings like the Guild Warehouse for shared storage, the Altar of Power for extra member slots, and a Blacksmith for equipment upgrades. You can also buy guild land at Dong Gwang Plain if you are level 21 or higher, though the price jumps to 1,000,000,000 Yang. Update 26.0 simplified territory acquisition by removing auctions and letting guilds buy available land directly from the Land Agent.

Endgame progression

Guilds are not just a social feature. Higher guild levels unlock better bonuses: 5% extra EXP on donations at level 5, Dragon God Power cost reductions at level 15, tax exemption on the guild bank at level 20, and lease discounts of up to 20% at level 40. A serious guild also gets access to guild dungeons like Meley's Lair and Balathor's Crypt, plus the Medal of Bravery shop for Elemental Scrolls. If you are pushing toward Champion Level on Yohara, a well-managed guild makes that grind noticeably smoother. This community guide has more on strategy for the late game.
