Update 26.2 added the Yin and Yang seal system. Seals drop in the new Infernal dungeons, you socket them into equipment, and each pair of seals produces an effect. A codex in the game lists the combinations.
Where seals come from
Both Yin and Yang seals drop in the Infernal dungeons. The first of these is the Infernal Dungeon: Depths of Greed, which opens at character level 75 after a short quest series from the NPC Uriel. You craft entry tickets from regular Passage Tickets, in levels 1 to 5.
How the two types work
The two seal types do different jobs. A Yin seal sets the requirement that triggers an effect, such as resurrecting, reaching a certain HP value, or using an effect. A Yang seal supplies the effect itself. You need a matching pair for anything to happen.
The effects
Gameforge lists these among the available Yang effects:
- Reduced damage while Blood Rage is active
- Resurrect with stealth
- A chance to shackle enemies or inflict Strong Poison
- Increased damage depending on your HP or SP
- Increased damage to monsters with low HP
The codex
A new codex in the game shows every available combination of Yin and Yang effects. Gameforge points players to it rather than publishing the full list, so check the codex before you spend seals on a guess.
FAQ
Do I need both seal types?
Yes. A Yin seal only sets the trigger condition, and a Yang seal only supplies the effect.
Where do I get the seals?
In the Infernal dungeons. The announcement lists them among the dungeon rewards, alongside experience, Yang, and crafting materials for the new Infernal costumes.
Is there a full list of combinations?
In the game, in the codex. The announcement does not publish the list outside it.
