Quick summary
The Monster Card interface opens with the J shortcut or through the expanded hotbar. From there the loop is fixed:
The collection and what each level unlocks
Progress for each monster shows in the Open World Collection and the Dungeon Collection. Every card you add fills the orange bar under the monster. When the bar is full, the Promote option appears and the monster's level goes up, shown as a star under the bar.
The wiki's table for cards needed per level:
Achievement bonuses
Since update 20.2, monster cards grant bonuses that are shared between all characters on one account. The Achievement Bonus section splits into Open World Achievements and Dungeon Achievements, depending on which monsters are required.
Transformation
Transforming works on the same idea as the Polymorph Marble. The duration depends on your Polymorph ability, and the wiki gives 35 minutes at P. Damage also rises with a higher Polymorph ability.
Two item shop tickets interact with the mission. The wiki lists the Reset Ticket at 9 dc and the Reshuffle Ticket at 58 dc.
Normal monster cards cannot be traded. You can turn ten of them into a tradeable version using the Swap function. Open the Collection tab, pick a monster that has at least 10 cards, and press Swap. It consumes 10 cards and gives you one tradeable card.

- The Monster Card interface opens with the J shortcut or from the expanded hotbar.
- Each mission deals you three random monsters. Kill all three, then collect the card, and one of the three is picked at random for your inventory.
- There are 15 mission levels. After level 15 the mission resets to level 1 on its own, and every level is harder than the last.
- Cards stack into a collection. Nine cards promote a monster to level 1, and the count climbs to 60 for levels 4 and 5.
- Level 3 unlocks transformation, level 4 unlocks teleport into the monster's map, and level 5 is a summon that the wiki lists as still in development.
- Achievement bonuses from cards are shared across every character on your account, and unlocking one spends the stars it asks for.
The Monster Card interface opens with the J shortcut or through the expanded hotbar. From there the loop is fixed:
- Click Accept Mission. Three cards are randomly selected from the deck below.
- Kill the three selected monsters.
- Click Collect Monster Card. One of the three you killed is randomly selected and the matching Monster Card goes into your inventory. Right click it to move it into your collection.
- The mission level increases.
- Repeat.
- Level 1: 9 cards. Unlocks an interactive 3D model of the monster.
- Level 2: 21 cards. Unlocks playable movement animations of the monster.
- Level 3: 30 cards. Unlocks transforming into the monster.
- Level 4: 60 cards. Unlocks teleporting into the monster's map or a neighbouring map. This only works if your own level is high enough for that monster.
- Level 5: 60 cards. Unlocks summon, which the wiki lists as still in development.
Achievement bonuses
Since update 20.2, monster cards grant bonuses that are shared between all characters on one account. The Achievement Bonus section splits into Open World Achievements and Dungeon Achievements, depending on which monsters are required.
- Click the Details plus option to see what an achievement asks for.
- Hover the sword symbol to see the bonus itself.
- Unlocking an achievement needs a set number of stars on each monster it lists.
- The bonus improves as you add more stars.
- Unlocking an achievement spends the required stars from the monsters in your collection.
Transformation
Transforming works on the same idea as the Polymorph Marble. The duration depends on your Polymorph ability, and the wiki gives 35 minutes at P. Damage also rises with a higher Polymorph ability.
- Cooldown: 3 hours.
- Uses: unlimited.
- Trade off: the damage from a Monster Card transformation is lower than from a Polymorph Marble transformation, because the card version has no use limit.
Two item shop tickets interact with the mission. The wiki lists the Reset Ticket at 9 dc and the Reshuffle Ticket at 58 dc.
- Reset Ticket: takes the mission level back to 1. The number of tickets needed rises with each reset, and you can do it up to 6 times a day.
- Reshuffle Ticket: changes the three monsters currently selected for you to hunt. The mission level stays the same and three new monsters are drawn from the same deck.
- 1st reset: free.
- 2nd reset: 2 tickets.
- 3rd reset: 4 tickets.
- 4th reset: 6 tickets.
- 5th reset: 8 tickets.
- 6th reset: 10 tickets.
Normal monster cards cannot be traded. You can turn ten of them into a tradeable version using the Swap function. Open the Collection tab, pick a monster that has at least 10 cards, and press Swap. It consumes 10 cards and gives you one tradeable card.
