Quick summary
  • The DIAMOND servers opened on August 7th 2026. There are three of them: Blos in western Europe, Dem in eastern Europe and Nite in Turkey.
  • Access is a one-time purchase of DIAMOND Access, either from the server selection or from the shop with a character on an existing server.
  • The base server bonus is a flat 50% item drop rate, on top of the EXP boosts the NPC Uriel gives above level 40.
  • The headline system is Area Control. Seven areas, one per guild at founding, and each week the top guild in each area gets to set buffs, bosses and items.
  • Access packs carry three extra charges, but those charges only work for the specific server named in the pack.
The servers

Gameforge lists three DIAMOND servers. Blos is the western Europe server, Dem is eastern Europe, and Nite is Turkey. All three opened at 10 AM CEST on August 7th 2026, and playing on them needs a one-time purchase of DIAMOND Access.

What the servers give you
  • The Echoes of Power event runs on these servers.
  • A 50% base item drop rate applies on the server.
  • The NPC Uriel gives extra EXP boosts from 25% up to 125% for characters above level 40.
  • Server first rewards, including loot pets, ritual stones and nazar amulets, plus achievements around the Heart of Greed.
  • The World Boss and Flower Power events, extra weekly events and missions, and the Apprentice Chests and Weapons for Young Heroes sets.
  • Metin+ members get additional rewards on top, such as a loot pet and the Flame of the Dragon.
How Area Control works

Each server has seven areas, and each area is made up of three game zones. A guild is assigned to one area automatically when it is founded.
  • Twilight: Valley of Seungryong, Hwang Temple, Moonshadow Vale.
  • Adventure: Mount Sohan, Cape Dragon Fire, Dong Gwang Plain.
  • Forsaken: Ghost Forest, Nephrite Bay, Seo Gwang Wastelands.
  • Crucible: Yongbi Desert, Red Forest, Northwind Canyon.
  • Shadow: Snakefield, Enchanted Forest, Nam Gwang Chasm.
  • Precipice: Land of Giants, Thunder Mountains, Yilad Pass.
  • Danger: Fireland, Gautama Cliff, Soul Gorge.
Every Monday at 10 AM CET the guild with the most AP in an area becomes that area's ruler. AP is earned from missions between Monday midnight and Sunday 11:59 PM, and it is reset each week. A-EXP is different. It is saved permanently per area and raises the guild's area level.
  • Area level 0 unlocks daily, weekly and monthly missions.
  • Area level 1 unlocks the area's buffs for all guild members.
  • Area level 2 adds another guild mission.
  • Area level 3 makes the area buffs stronger.
  • Max level grants a permanent area title to current members and an Area Token.
What the ruler decides

The ruler sets three things on Monday between 10 AM and 11:59 PM CET. They take effect from midnight on Tuesday. If nothing is chosen, the defaults apply.
  • Buffs: 5% to 20% additional at Default, 10% to 25% at Extended, 15% to 35% at Veteran, spread across EXP, item drop rate and Yang. The split depends on the area.
  • Bosses: which enemies spawn daily in the area's three zones. Default gives lower to medium difficulty, Extended medium to higher, Veteran higher to champion.
  • Items: weekly GM mail. Every guild in the area gets 10 Teleport Stones at Default, a Time Spiral at Extended, or two Cor Daemonis at Veteran. Members of the ruling guild get Enchant Items at Default, a Cor Draconis at Extended, or two Flames of the Dragon at Veteran.
You cannot simply pick everything at Veteran. One week of reign gives two Extended slots and no Veteran. Two weeks gives two Extended and one Veteran. Three weeks or more gives three Extended and two Veteran.

The World Council

All seven area rulers sit on the World Council, which votes on the same Monday window. Each ruler picks one option and the most-voted option activates.
  • Bosses in the neutral areas, choosing between Razador, Bagjanamu or Nemere as the headline.
  • Global buffs for all players, including players in no guild: 100% EXP, 50% item drop rate and 25% Yang; or 25% EXP, 100% item drop rate and 50% Yang; or 50% EXP, 75% item drop rate and 50% Yang.
  • The weekend event from Saturday 8 PM to Sunday 11:59 PM, choosing between Metin Fever, Moonlight Treasure Chest Drops and Fishing Jigsaw.
Gameforge states the item drop percentages include the server's default 50% increase, and gives this worked example of the ceiling: 50% server setting plus 50% World Council plus 35% area control plus 15% area level, which totals 150%.

Missions and blessings

Missions pay AP and A-EXP plus regular rewards, including TC Vouchers, Cor Draconis, Loot Passes and Personal Premium Shops. The AP Blessing and A-EXP Blessing can each be bought for seven days with Dragon Coins on the website. They double the AP or A-EXP you earn, they are bound to the account and server cluster, and every character on your Metin2 account on that server benefits.

Access FAQ

Q: Can I gift DIAMOND access to someone?
A: No. Gameforge says it is not possible to gift access, not even with the packs. Since access can be bought with Dragon Coins, it can be sent indirectly through DR Vouchers.

Q: Can I use a charge on a different server?
A: No. Charges and packs are server specific, and they cannot be used for other DIAMOND servers even if more launch in that region.

Q: I bought the wrong pack. Can I swap it?
A: No. Access is granted immediately on purchase and cannot be transferred or refunded.

Q: Do Tigerghost players get in?
A: No. Tigerghost players have to create a separate account to join the DIAMOND servers.

Q: Does my area level ever drop?
A: No. Reaching an area level is permanent. It can only effectively drop if your guild moves to a different area and has to start lower there.

Q: Can I change my ruler decision after submitting it?
A: Area decisions can be changed until midnight. Votes cast in the World Council cannot be changed afterwards.

Q: What if my guild leader is inactive?
A: The decisions are made automatically. If the leader is inactive in the World Council, their votes are assigned to the first option.
