Quick summary
  • Gaya is a currency that arrived with game version 17.3. It is not Yang and it is not Won.
  • The cap is 999,999 Gaya.
  • You earn it by handing Glimmerstones to the Gaya Merchant or the Warrior Statue, or by using a Gaya Transmuter.
  • You spend it in the Gaya Market, which shows each player a different stock that refreshes five hours after it is shown.
  • Gaya can be packed into a Gaya Bag and sold to another player.
How much you can hold

The wiki lists a maximum of 999,999 Gaya. You can also open a Gaya Bag, fill it with Gaya, and sell that bag to another player, which is the tradeable form of the currency.

The ways to earn Gaya
  • Gaya Merchant: hand over 30 Glimmerstones, one Spirit Powder and 15,000 Yang for a chance at 3 Gaya. The wiki lists the success rate at 30 percent.
  • Warrior Statue: the same materials, with the success rate listed at 70 percent. The Warrior Statue page describes the NPC as cutting Glimmerstones into Gaya.
  • Gaya Transmuter: one transmuter plus 15,000 Yang for every 10 Glimmerstones.
  • Gaya Sports Bag: a bag you can open for Gaya.
The Gaya Market

The stock is different for every player. Once the table is shown it refreshes after five hours, and a Refresh Gaya Market item lets you ignore that cooldown. The first row, three slots, is available to everyone. The next two rows can be expanded with a Gaya Market Expansion. The Warrior Statue sells a single row of its own, and the wiki notes that those items are only the ones that can appear in row three of the Gaya Market.

The wiki lists these against the market. Since the stock differs per player, treat them as the published prices rather than a fixed shop.

FAQ
  • Is Gaya the same as Yang? No. It is a separate currency introduced in version 17.3.
  • Can I spend it anywhere else? The wiki lists the Gaya Market and the Warrior Statue as the two places.
  • Does the market reset on its own? Yes, five hours after the table is shown.
  • Can I trade Gaya directly? Pack it into a Gaya Bag and sell the bag.
  • What do I need before I start? Glimmerstones, and for the merchant and statue paths also Spirit Powder and Yang.
  • Is the Warrior Statue better than the merchant? The wiki lists 70 percent against 30 percent for the same materials, so it is the better rate of the two.
