Metin2 6/7 bonuses: Seon-Hae, the Powershard tiers, the success rate math, and how to change them

Metin2 splits bonuses into two groups that work separately: the first five, and the sixth and seventh. The first five are covered by the bonus system topic already on this board. This post is about the 6/7 side, which is where the biggest single upgrades come from.

The rule
  • 6/7 bonuses can only be added if the item already has 5 bonuses.
  • You add them through the NPC Seon-Hae.
  • You place the item in the window and present a Powershard that matches the item level.
  • Each Powershard presented raises the success rate by 2 percent, up to 10 pieces, which makes 20 percent.
  • Additives raise it further, up to 5 pieces. The wiki lists Small at 5 percent each, Medium at 10 percent each, Large at 20 percent each and Power at 50 percent each.
  • The maximum success rate, with 10 Powershards and 5 Additives, is 70 percent.
The Powershard tiers
  • Grey: item level 1 to 29.
  • White: 31 to 39.
  • Green: 40 to 49.
  • Yellow: 50 to 59.
  • Blue: 60 to 74.
  • Purple: 76 to 89.
  • Red: 90 to 104.
  • Rainbow: 106 to 120.
  • Lucent Grey: 30. Lucent Green: 75. Lucent Yellow: 105.
  • Holy: 120.
Two traps
  • Items whose level changes when you upgrade them use the lowest level for the Powershard choice. The wiki's example is Qilin Shoes, which ranges from 65 to 75, so you look at 65 and need a Blue Powershard.
  • The item is held by Seon-Hae for 24 hours. A Time Spiral reduces the wait.
Changing existing 6/7 bonuses
  • Small Orison gives a small chance to change a 6th or 7th bonus.
  • Orison removes the bonuses from an item and adds new ones, and applies only to bonuses 6 and 7.
The wiki also notes that 6/7 bonuses can match a default or 1/5 bonus, which is an exception to the rule that applies on the first five.
