Quick summary

Dragon Coins (DC) are the currency you buy with real money. Dragon Marks (DM) are what you get back for spending them, at a fixed 1 to 1 rate, and they buy a small section of the Item-Shop that DC cannot. Every DC you spend earns 1 DM. The two wiki versions agree on the rate and disagree on nothing about it, but the German pages carry detail the English pages do not, and the two were last edited four years apart.

Dragon Coins

Dragon Coins are one of the currencies used to purchase something within the game, in this case the Item-Shop specifically. You get DC by opening DR Vouchers or by making a purchase with real money.

To top up with real money, open the Item-Shop by clicking the spinning coin at the bottom left corner and select "top up account". The English page lists nine payment methods: telephone by call or SMS, PayPal, credit card, SOFORT Banking, Amazon Pay, PaySafeCard, Skrill, bank transfer and iDEAL. The German page lists fifteen: Anruf, Barzahlen, Coupon, Fyber, Gameforge Card, Giropay, credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JBC), PayPal, Paysafecard, Skrill, SMS, SOFORT Überweisung, SuperRewards and Überweisung. The German list is the wider one and adds cash payment, coupons, Fyber, the Gameforge Card and Giropay.

The English page says the top-up can be made in the Item-Shop. The German page adds that you can top up either on the homepage, reachable in the Gameforge Client through the gear icon next to the game account, or in game.

The top-up rates
  • €4.99 for 60 DC.
  • €9.99 for 150 DC.
  • €24.99 for 480 DC.
  • €49.99 for 1,140 DC.
  • €99.99 for 2,525 DC.
  • €199.99 for 5,100 DC.
Both the English and German pages print the same six rates. The English page adds that from time to time there is a special action giving more DC for a purchase. Neither page states the bonus percentage.

Dragon Marks

Dragon Marks are one of the currencies used to purchase something within the game, again the Item-Shop specifically. Only one section offers items for DM. Open the Item-Shop at the spinning coin in the bottom left, then go to All Items, then Service, then Mark Items.

You get DM by purchasing something with Dragon Coins. For every DC spent you receive 1 DM. The German page spells the rate out with an example: if you buy something for 10 Dragon Coins, you receive 10 Dragon Marks on your account. Both pages state the same 1:1 conversion.

The free Dragon Marks

The German Dragon Marks page adds a rule the English page does not have. A new account now receives five Dragon Marks as a gift, which the page says can be used to buy Moschusöl for the level 4 quest Der neue Duft. Accounts created through Gameforge.com do not receive the gift.

The Moschusöl page confirms the price: it comes from the Item-Shop for 1 Dragon Mark, and it is the item the weapon dealer uses in that quest. The Markenitems table in the Item-Shop page lists the same item at 9 DM, so the two German pages disagree on what it costs.

What you can buy with DM

The German Item-Shop page carries the Markenitems table with DM prices. The first eleven entries in that table are:
  • Sofortige Söldnerheilung, 29 DM. A voucher that heals an injured mercenary.
  • Glas des Handels, 39 DM. Lets you search for an item near you.
  • Kaschmirbündel, 50 DM. Opens a premium shop.
  • Segensschriftrolle x3, 720 DM. Prevents an item being destroyed when its improvement fails.
  • Segensschriftrolle, 350 DM. Same effect, single scroll.
  • Konzentriertes Lesen, 300 DM. Doubles and a half, a factor of 2.5, the chance of improving a talent when reading the next book or soulstone.
  • Magisches Kupfererz, 420 DM. Required to craft a Schriftrolle des Krieges.
  • Magisches Eisenerz, 350 DM. Required to craft a Schriftrolle des Drachen.
  • Protein-Happen, 30 DM.
  • Set-Effekt löschen, 500 DM. Drag it onto an item with a set effect to remove the effect.
  • Elixier SungMa-Wille in STR, VIT, RES and INT, 300 DM each. Strengthens the matching SungMa will by +5 for 30 minutes.
The German Dragon Marks page names three of these as the popular ones: the Segensschriftrolle, the Magische Eisenerz and the Konzentriertes Lesen.

The table does not end there. Past the eleven entries above it lists Tapferkeitsumhang at 9 DM, Segen des Drachen at 125 DM, Segen des Lebens and Segen der Magie at 95 DM each, Kritischer Kampf and Durchbohrender Kampf at 125 DM each, the four Drachengott scrolls at 75 to 95 DM, Geschwindigkeitstrank at 25 DM, Trank des Angriffs +15 at 25 DM and +10 at 20 DM, Ring der Geheimnisse at 75 DM, Medaille des Drachen at 19 DM, Schriftrolle des Ortes at 9 DM, Glas der Einsicht at 9 DM and Moschusöl at 9 DM.

The German Item-Shop page is dated January 12 2024, which makes it older than the German Dragon Coins page at January 14 2026 and the German Dragon Marks page at December 22 2021. Treat its prices as a snapshot, not a current price list.

Where the two versions disagree

Not on the rate. Both the English and German pages say 1 to 1, and both give the same six top-up tiers. The difference is in the detail each carries:
  • The English Dragon Coins page was last edited March 29 2026. The German Drachenmünzen page was last edited January 14 2026. The English Dragon Marks page was last edited March 29 2026. The German Drachenmarken page was last edited December 22 2021.
  • The free 5 DM gift and the Gameforge.com exclusion appear only on the German Dragon Marks page.
  • The fifteen payment methods appear only on the German Dragon Coins page.
  • The six DR Voucher types appear only on the English DR Vouchers page.
  • The Markenitems table with DM prices appears only on the German Item-Shop page.
The English Currency page, which is a disambiguation page last edited July 31 2025, lists the currencies as Yang, Won, Gaya, Medal of Bravery, Combat Points, Anniversary Coin, Dragon Coins (DC), Dragon Marks (DM) and Tiger Coins (TC). Only Yang, Anniversary Coin, Dragon Coins and Dragon Marks have pages of their own on the English wiki. Won, Gaya, Medal of Bravery, Combat Points and Tiger Coins are red links.

FAQ

Is the conversion ever better than 1:1? Both pages say 1 to 1, so no. The only bonus is the occasional extra DC on a real-money purchase, which the English page mentions without giving a figure.

Can I buy DM items with DC? No. The English page says only one section offers items for DM, and it is reached through All Items, Service, Mark Items.

Do I get DM on top of the voucher value? The English page says you get DC by opening DR Vouchers, and separately that every DC spent earns 1 DM. The voucher gives the DC, the spending gives the DM.

Which wiki should I trust for the prices? The German Item-Shop page, but check the date. It was last edited January 12 2024, so a price may have moved since.

Is there a support route for payment problems? Yes. The English page says to open a ticket to Support and select Billing Support, and it notes that the email of your in-game account and support account must be the same.
