The Biologist research chain is the longest permanent stat grind in Metin2, and the rules around it trip people up more than the item lists do. Everything below comes from the English Gameforge wiki, which keeps the whole chain on one page.

The two rules that set your pace
- One item can be delivered per day, and no more.
- You have to finish the previous quest before the next one becomes available.
That means the chain is gated by days as much as by level. The level listed for each stage tells you when it opens up, not how quickly you can clear it.
The full chain
Level 30: 10 Orc Teeth, then a Jinunggyis Soul Stone. Permanent reward: +10% movement speed.
Level 40: 15 Curse Books, then a Temple Soul Stone. Permanent reward: +5% attack speed.
Level 50: 15 Demon's Keepsakes, then a Sagyis Soul Stone. Permanent reward: +60 defence.
Level 60: 20 Ice Marbles, then an Aurtumryus Soul Stone. Permanent reward: +50 attack value.
Level 70: 25 Zelkova Branches, then a Gyimoks Soul Stone. Permanent reward: +10% movement speed and +10% damage reduction. The wiki is explicit that this one is damage reduction, not defence.
Level 80: 30 Tugyi's Tablets, then a Tugyis Soul Stone. Permanent reward: +6% attack speed and +10% attack value.
Level 85: 40 Red Ghost Tree Branches, then a Forest Spirit Soul Stone. Permanent reward: 10% damage reduction from other players.
Level 90: 50 Leaders' Notes, then a Leaders' Soul Stone. Permanent reward: +8% more damage toward other players.
Level 92: 10 Malevolence Jewels. You choose one of 1,000 HP, 120 defence, or 50 attack value.
Level 94: 20 Wisdom Jewels, then a Beran-Setaou Soul Stone. You choose one of 1,100 HP, 140 defence, or 60 attack value.
The first stages come from Biologist Chaegirab. From level 92 the quests move to Seon-Pyeong.
The level 30 stage in detail
The first research quest appears automatically when you hit level 30. The steps the wiki lists: collect 10 Orc Teeth from Orcs, Black Orcs and Bold Black Orcs, deliver one tooth per day to Biologist Chaegirab, then collect a Jinunggyis Soul Stone from Elite Orcs, Elite Orc Scouts, Elite Orc Sorcerer and Elite Orc Fighter, and return to report. The quest closes with a visit to Baek-Go. The reward is the permanent 10% movement speed plus a Red Ebony Box.
A caveat worth repeating
The wiki lists these as permanent rewards on the official server. Private servers rewrite quest files and stat values constantly, so a private server can pay different amounts, drop the daily rule, or skip stages entirely. Check your server's own quest data before you plan a route around this table.
